Map game actions to joystick buttons

Map game actions to the joystick's buttons by creating keystroke assignments that tell the joystick which game command to play when you press a joystick button.

A keystroke is a game action or series of game actions that you assign to a game pad button. A keystroke can consist of up to 32 key presses. The duration of each key press is determined by your game--you cannot include timing information for key presses in a keystroke assignment.

You can create keystroke assignment for joystick buttons 1-4, and buttons A-D. If you want to, you can create an additional keystroke assignment for each button with the joystick's Shift control, for a total of 16 programmed game actions.
